Floor test tomorrow, section 144 imposed near state assembly in Bhopal
- Bhopal: The district administration in Bhopal (state capital) on Sunday imposed Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) prohibiting the gathering of five or more people at public places. The restrictions will be put in place from March 16 to April 13.
“There are possibilities of various groups and political parties organising protests during the Madhya Pradesh assembly session scheduled to take place from March 16 to April 13,” said Bhopal District Magistrate and Collector Tarun Kumar Pithode.
The development comes a day after Governor Lalji Tandon, after a meeting with a BJP delegation, said that the floor test in the assembly will be held on Monday.
