CM Mamata Banerjee Suffers Injuries After Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing

Siliguri: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee suffered injuries on Tuesday as her helicopter made an emergency landing at the Sevoke air base near Siliguri due to bad weather conditions. Banerjee was taken to SSKM Hospital for treatment after she landed in Kolkata. The TMC supremo will get a check up done and may get admitted for treatment.

Taking a dig at TMC, BJP leader Sukanta asked the party that why does Mamata Banerjee get injured before every election?

Earlier today, Banerjee’s helicopter took off from Jalpaiguri district, where the Trinamool Congress (TMC) president had spoken at a political rally ahead of the state’s impending panchayat elections.

She was on her way to Bagdogra, where she planned to catch a flight back to Kolkata.
