Mumbai: Akshay Kumar, know for his patriotism and his love for the armed forces, took to his Twitter account earlier today and hailed the Indian Air Force’s air strike on the terror camps of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. At 3 am today, 12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets of IAF, in a covert operation, dropped over 1,000 kg of bombs on several regions of PoK, including Balakot, Muzaffarabad and Chakothi. Reports suggest that the air strike decimated 3 alpha control rooms that belonged to terror groups and several terrorist launchpads.
“Andar Ghus Ke Maaro!” – Akshay Kumar wrote in his tweet adding the fact that he was proud of the Airforce fighters for fearlessly bombing the terror camps in PoK. Akshay’s reaction comes as no surprise because the actor was furious over the Pulawam terrorist attack that killed CRPF jawans. Here’s what he had wrote at the time:
“Numb beyond belief at the dastardly terror attack on #CRPF soldiers in #Pulwama. May God give peace to their souls, and strength to their grieving families. Wishing the injured a speedy recovery. We can’t let this be forgotten,” – Akshay Kumar had tweeted on February 14.
