The ones staying alone can drive away from the loneliness by video calling their families and friends. Even business meets are carried through video calls. Being one of the most widely used social media apps, Facebook has definitely helped you connect with your family and friends. Facebook Messenger Rooms is available for both Android and iOS users. You can even add someone if they don’t have a Facebook account by providing them the URL.

Zoom

Zoom has garnered huge popularity during the lockdown period. It allows you to stay connected with your family friends and colleagues where you can add 100 participants for a group chat. The duration is for 40 minutes if you have a basic plan. If you are having one on one chat, you can have unlimited chats without any duration.

Facebook-owned WhatsApp allows you to video call your friends and family. Apart from sending and receiving texts, it also allows you to have video calls. Open the chat and press the video call button with whom you want to have a video chat. You can now add up to 8 participants for group chats.

FaceTime

This app is the best for apple-to-apple calls and is available across both iOS and macOS. You can chat with multiple people at the same time and can add up to 32 people in the chat.

Google Duo

This video calling app is available for both Android and iOS users. You can select the user with whom you want to have a conversation from a list of google contacts. Its knock-knock feature allows you to see live video of your caller before you answer. You can add 12 people for a group video call using Google duo.

Google Meet

Google Meets can support up to 100 participants for a group video call. It also offers the screen-sharing option and you can turn off your camera or share your screen as well. Meet puts its tools in a bright white toolbar.

Skype

You can also hold group video chat using Skype where you need to log in by creating an account or using your Microsoft login. Skype helps you have group video chats with up to 50 people at once. It offers free video calling service and you can download it on your phone, laptop, PC or iPhone.
