IPL 2025: Dhoni to take on Kohli
New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be up against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the eighth fixture of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday. Both teams are coming on the back of a win in their respective season openers and will be locking horns in an exciting encounter dubbed as the “Southern Derby” of the IPL.
CSK played their opening game against arch-rivals Mumbai Indians (MI) and comfortably beat them by four wickets as they chased a below-par target of 156 runs. RCB, on the other hand, defeated defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the opening game of the tournament, starting their campaign on a bright note with a seven-wicket win.
