Agra: Fake Bride,Real Theft

Agra: A bizarre and brazen wedding night scam has surfaced in Agra, leaving locals stunned. A newlywed bride allegedly drugged her groom and mother-in-law by serving them sedative-laced milk, and fled with cash and gold jewellery worth lakhs.

CCTV footage captured her escaping on a motorbike, and further investigation revealed that the woman’s Aadhaar card was fake. Shockingly, her so-called relatives who attended the wedding were impostors as well.

The police have launched a full-scale investigation into what appears to be a pre-planned marriage racket. Authorities suspect the involvement of a larger gang orchestrating similar cons.
